The William S. Richardson Law Library collects primary and secondary legal materials for Pacific Islands that are not available elsewhere. Search our law library catalog to locate these materials..

The Pacific Collection at the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Hamilton Library contains over 80,000 volumes of Pacific-related material, including current Pacific-area journals, periodicals, reports, and newspapers.  The Pacific Collection can be searched here .

Pacific Law Journals

Asia Pacific Law and Policy Journal
Vol. 1 (Feb. 2000) to current issue available online. Journal is run by our own William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii. Focuses on issues facing Asia and the Pacific Rim.

Journal of South Pacific Law  
Volume 1 (1997) to current issue available online.  The Journal of South Pacific Law is a specialized online journal of the University of the South Pacific School of Law focusing on laws of the South Pacific Region.

La Revue Juridique Polynesienne (French language site)
Most, but not all, volumes available online.  Published once a year in French and English with a main focus on the countries of the Pacific.  A collaboration between the Universite de la  Plolynesie Francaise, Victoria University Law Review, the New Zealand Association for Comparative Law, and the School of Law of University at the University of the South Pacific.

Melanesian Law Journal
Law Library has all volumes at call number K13 .E335.
Vol. 25-27, 29 are available online. Journal focuses on issues relating to Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific region.  Published by the University of Papua New Guinea School of Law.
